 Kor Martial Arts & Fitness offers a variety of study programs for those interested in studying the arts of Sport Jiu-jitsu, Judo, Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, Kickboxing, Fitness Kickboxing, Yoga or pursuing a professional or amateur career in mixed martial arts, and for individuals of all ages to develop self-defence skills and fitness; to improve health of mind and body. Get in shape and stay in shape, make friends, and to achieve success in international competitive events.  The club atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming.  Our experienced staff is dedicated to developing your abilities and ensuring that you are provided with the highest quality learning environment so that you can reach your goals.

 

 Kickboxing consists in improving your boxing and kickboxing ability including punching, kicking and kneeing techniques as well as your footwork and body mechanics. Having also as benefits excellent cardiovascular exercise and resistance training. The high-intensity workouts are great for increased weight loss and improved hand-eye coordination and help promote relaxation, stress-relief and self-control.

 

 Jiu-Jitsu is an ancient art stretching back in time through North America, Brazil, Japan and even to India and possibly Ancient Greece. Its continuity has been guaranteed through the years due to its effectiveness. It is now a staple of every MMA fighter.

 

 Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a grappling martial art that utilizes technique and leverage to impose holds and joint locks while on the ground, allowing a person to defend him or herself effectively against a stronger and larger opponent. While many hand-to-hand martial arts rely on strikes using speed and power, Brazilian jiu-jitsu takes a different approach: speed and power are not a requirement and are oftentimes not necessary. BJJ emphasizes closing the distance between you and your opponent and taking him or her to the ground where technique and leverage can be used to apply submissions or strike more efficiently.

 

Junior Classes 

 We offer a great many Jiu-jitsu classes for children, where they can safely and cheerfully develop their minds and bodies under expert instruction.  Jiu-jitsu, unlike many sports, Image is both a solo and a team activity. Thus, as a solo activity, the child develops personal integrity and courage, and as a team activity s/he develops cooperation, communication and respect for others.
